About the Job


Physicians’ Education Resource (PER Group), a medical publishing and education company specializing in oncology, has an immediate opening for an Account Manager. We are an established and growing organization located in Dallas, TX.


 


The Account Manager role will focus on building and developing business for PER.  The specific responsibilities will include revenue generation, grant development oversight, new client relationship development, proposal preparation and client customer service. 


 


Individual will be responsible for generating and maintaining  8-10M dollars of PER business related to new and existing product lines.  Position may be based outside of Dallas, Texas and will require extensive travel.  There will be an expectation that this individual will create new revenue streams and maintain a working knowledge of pertinent CME and oncology related marketplace issues and maintain relationships with select key opinion leaders.  This individual must establish and maintain a working knowledge of Pharma Guidelines, ACCME standards and OIG guidance.


 


 FUNCTIONS


·              Work closely with Vice President of Business Development and other business development colleagues to brainstorm new ideas, prospect new clients, develop new relationships and client customer service.


·              Proposal preparation including coordination of all components and final edits


·              Preparation of client contact reports and executive summaries of key activities


·              Project management and coordination of multi-functional team consisting of meeting planners, medical, graphics and other related areas.


·              Establish relationships with opinion leaders and other individuals, in the U.S. and Abroad.


·              Build relationships with key decision makers in US grant offices within Pharmaceutical/Biotech companies.


 


EXPERIENCE


·         College degree in marketing or business, or equivalent work experience.


·         Minimum five (5) years experience in oncology relates sales/marketing. ( Home office experience at Pharmaceutical Manufacturer is strongly preferred)


·         Working knowledge of the Oncology marketplace and familiarity with guidelines related to ACCME, Pharma Code and OIG report.


·         Good relationships with Oncology grant office staff and other key decision maker.
