The team at AKT Benefit Advisors is providing consulting services to our clients in multiple states and is looking to add an experience professional to assist our mid market and large group clients and prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
  • Work with insurance carriers regarding quotes, renewals, and on-going service issues.
  • Complete RFP’s, client proposals and spreadsheets with an emphasis on renewals for experience rated contracts.
  • Present information throughout the year to clients via phone and/or in person during meetings with our client’s management team, at an enrollment meeting, or during an employee benefits fair.
  • Track and present financial results related to the monthly experience of mid market and large group clients.
  • Assist in new business development.
  • Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm, presenting a positive image of self and AKT.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five years of experience in an employee benefits insurance agency, consulting firm, and/or health insurance company.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Firm working knowledge of employee benefits industry.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Office products.
  • Active Oregon Life and Health Insurance License.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks.
  • Ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients and carriers.
