ACCOUNT MANAGER

About the Job

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering strategic, day-to-day management of client relationships and must be able to both develop and maintain strong client relationships. The individual in this position works to understand the client's business needs and collaborates with the account team to ensure the development and implementation of analytical and technical solutions to enable those strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide account leadership including coordination of internal analytical, strategy and technical resources to deliver on client's needs and expectations
* Deliver against a scope of work that includes production schedules, strategic development, results reporting and strategic development
* Manage and expand client relationships – continual needs assessment – relationship plan
* Ensure excellent client satisfaction
* Coordinate claims data receipt, mapping and processing
* Ensure completion of monthly internal and external production tasks
* Understand client business needs, participate in solution development and effectively communicate solutions
* Find and close new revenue opportunities within an existing client base
* Keep abreast of what’s going on in the industry in relation to recovery audits and the industry at large; bring fresh ideas to the company
* Assist colleagues as needed as questions arise on accounts with regards to client relations, scope of work, troubleshooting, etc.
* Work with IT to improve technology applications
* Report on client status weekly
* Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
* 5 years’ solid experience in healthcare/health information management industry, preferably including commercial payer and/or healthcare consulting experience
* Strategic consulting and conceptualization skills are a must; candidate must be able to think on his/her feet, offer clients and internal project teams well-conceived solutions to business problems to add high value, and pick up on nuances of client interaction and communications
* Superb leadership, organizational, time management, interpersonal, stress management, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem-solving skills
* Measurable experience in managing and growing profitable satisfied accounts
* Strong writing/editing skills are essential
* Superb client relations skills and strong ability to convey professionalism and engagement in all written, verbal and in-person meetings with clients is required
* Strong relationship building skills
* Interest and passion for staying on top of industry trends and best practices; up for continuously taking on new challenges and learning new technologies!
* BS degree; MS/Advanced degree desirable
* Proficiency in all MS Office applications and a strong general knowledge of business, marketing, and technology fields. Experience with Adobe and Visio software preferred.

JOB LOCATION
Las Vegas, NV (must be willing to relocate immediately)
