Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for face-to-face sales to current and prospective customers in the shipping and receiving community. Plans and executes a sales strategy for increasing market share at a profitable level, by utilizing the best product knowledge, consultative selling techniques and negotiation skills.
Requirements:
– College degree or comparable business experience
– Able to evaluate customer needs and determine how to meet needs
– Favorable driving record & background check
– Minimum of 3 years sales experience
– Transportation services sales experience preferred
– Negotiating service conditions and price experience
– Effective communication skills
