Are you a degreed engineer with 2-4 years of product engineering experience (including some exposure to engines) and are now looking to move into a customer facing role?

Manage the sales and profitability of account and/or accounts by communicating internally and with customers for purposes of maintenance of current and growth of future business.
  • Negotiate product pricing and related contracts and agreements insuring a profitable return to company.
  • Seek out new opportunities at the customer with existing products or new products for continued business growth.
  • Assume general representation of business through personal visitation and communication to instill trust and confidence with the customer.
  • Provide input of current market conditions to corporate forecasting for the purpose of meeting business plan objectives and budgets.
  • Assist in organizing communication lines between customer and company to assure a mutually effective working relationship.
  • Resolve all issues between customer and company for the purpose of maintaining a healthy business relationship.
  • Prospect for new OEM accounts.
  • Represent the Sales group in program specific cross-functional program launch team meetings.
  • The role requires significant technical knowledge and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, other engineering disciplines would be considered. Further education in business related skills would be a significant advantage (BA or MBA)
  • Knowledge and understanding of at least basic engine engineering is key.  Product and system knowledge is considered to be a key pillar of an Account Manager’s ability and training will be provided as required.
  • Two years of account management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required.
