HBS Account Managers sell building control solutions to existing and new accounts; coordinating with consultants and contractors to sell building control systems for new construction and renovation projects.
The Account Manager position is an essential role within HBS with primary responsibilities such as:
- Using your strong sales acumen and relationship building skills to build the Northern and Mid Michigan
- Strategically building alliances and maintaining customer relationships to create win-win partnerships and future opportunities
- Effectively communicating high powered presentations to external and internal customers
- Managing all aspects of engagements with your customers.
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading providing of energy efficiency solutions worldwide.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree necessary
- 5 years of experience selling HVAC/R technical solutions
- 3 years of account management experience in sales or project management positions
Additional Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in HVAC/R Engineering or Business
- Technical application experience with HVAC Control Systems
- Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans.
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical contractors.
- Excellent cold-calling skills and the ability to identify and seek out new business.
