Job description:

The Account Manager reports to the SVP, Account Management and is responsible for managing the day-to-day and strategic relationships with our utility partners. This high-impact position works closely with key stakeholders to expand business opportunities with existing partners.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with partners to uncover opportunities that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and ongoing business processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and business development to create and present business cases that support program expansion with current and prospective partners
  • Conduct performance analysis of partner programs and present results and insights to partner and company leadership teams
  • Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with internal and external clients
  • Work with internal and external teams to steer proposed marketing campaigns through the approval process
  • Conduct formal and informal presentations on new services and products to key stakeholders
  • Secure additional product placement and revenue growth with partners
  • Work cross-functionally to integrate and launch new partners and products
  • Investigate and resolve escalated consumer issues and complaints

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related area
  • A minimum of 7 years of consultative account management and business development  experience
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and managing long-term client relationships
  • Computer literate; intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Able to travel up to 30% consistently throughout the year
  • This position may be based in our offices in Miami, FL, Stamford, CT, or remote location

 

Desired skills:

  • Utilities industry experience is a huge plus
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth oriented organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
