Account Manager

The account executive has direct customer sales and program management responsibility. He/she will be challenged with managing existing customer programs, introducing new programs to existing customers and prospecting for new accounts. The account executive will have daily interaction with a defined customer base. Coupled with the sales responsibility, the account executive will be challenged with the development and support of marketing initiatives aimed at prospects and current clients. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, plan-o-gram integrity, developing PowerPoint presentations and developing marketing collateral.

Duties and Responsibilities: Customer sales calls; Manage POS/pricing/ forecast as they relate to existing programs. Work with marketing to develop new programs and categories for existing customers. Trade show preparation and support. Overnight travel is required 25-50% of the time.

Experience Required: Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 2-5 years of industry experience is required, preferably in a sales, marketing or inventory managment role within a consumer products company or retailer.

Skills Required: Computer proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. JDE is preferred. The position requires an individual to analyze customer POS reports and effectively manage a forecast based on purchasing history. Must possess an understanding of the hardware industry or a related consumer products market.
