About the Job

Position Summary

The principal responsibilities of this position will be to develop and manage Hispanic entertainment/grassroots sponsorships and marketing initiatives on behalf of a major client.  The primary relationship/sponsorship property will be grassroots/entertainment.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

·         Responsible for Hispanic Festival program development, supervision and implementation of operational and tactical sponsorship activation including but not limited to:

o   Development of activation plan

o   On-site programming development and implementation

o   Organizing and managing premiums inventory

o   Ticket inventory and distribution

o   All on-site catering, transportation, accommodations, etc. management

o   Talent management

·         Organization of all event materials

·         Manage inventory of merchandise and apparel

·         Event Management operations and support of Special Events

·         Ability to activation/transportation of mobile marketing program to each activation market

·         Management of on-site staff including oversight of Event Coordinator duties

·         A keen sense of business process and how marketing, communications, and events are used to impact the bottom line and drive brand objectives

·         Understanding with hands-on event management and execution experience, ideally  with U.S. Hispanic related events

·         Ability to develop strategic marketing plans and see them through from concept to execution; developing budget and staffing plans to support programs

·         Ability to quickly establish credibility throughout the organization and with client

 

Required Qualifications

·         Multi-lingual; fluent in written and spoken Spanish

·         Bachelors Degree

·         5-7 years related experience

·         Expert knowledge in U.S Hispanic segments and sub-segments, Hispanic entertainment and grassroots festivals (i.e. Latin Grammys, Calle Ocho, Fiesta Broadway)

·         Willingness to relocate

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English and Spanish)

·         Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, in order to work effectively with clients, internal team leaders/members and partner vendors/agencies

·         Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat (Reader, Pro)

·         Ability to handle multiple projects at one time

·         Ability to work long hours and travel frequently on weekends

·         One of unquestioned personal and professional ethics and integrity
