Governor Control Systems, Inc. (GCS), a growing leader in the engineered industrial control systems industry, has an opening for an Account Manager in the Gulf of Mexico Region, with an office located in Mandeville, LA.  The Account Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting and developing refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, and offshore business opportunities to sell new accounts, maintain existing accounts and target engineered systems opportunities and service as required. 

 Other Responsibilities include:

• Develop value creation opportunities for both GCS and the customer base
• Sales plan development  to ensure order and revenue growth
• Service plan development to ensure customer satisfaction
• Sales team development
• Keeping management informed through regular activity reports and communications
• Maintain an accurate CRM database
• Territory: Southern Part of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama
  

 The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:  

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Industry sales account management experience of 5+ years required
• Five (5) years related industry experience required
• Computer Skills to include:  Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email.

The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:

• Professional assets sought are excellent sales, service and leadership orientation  
• Experience on calling on customers throughout the Gulf of Mexico Region, focused on Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. 
• Intermediate computer experience would include Excel, PowerPoint, GroupWise, CRM tools and Internet capabilities 
• Five (5) years experience in the geographical market mentioned above sales account management experience is preferred
• A Controls or Systems Engineer is a plus.
