Account Representative – Inside Sales
Central Transport, Int., a leading LTL Trucking and Logistics company is looking for a motivated and aggressive individual to fill an Account Representative role within our Inside Sales Department located at our Corporate Office in Warren, MI.
We are seeking full-time team members to initiate sales to new customers and maintain positive business relationships with pre-existing customers.
Initial and ongoing training provided:
- Sales training- cold calling techniques, phone skills,
- Company history and objective
- Overview of transportation industry- purpose, trends, terminology, competitors
- Computer Training- Intranet, company website, outlook
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Initiating telephone sales to new and existing customers
- Establish strong business relationships
- Create and Manage profitable pricing proposals
- Surpass sales goals
- Project Coordination and Problem Solving
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- An upbeat and assertive demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Internet, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to take on new challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

No previous industry experience required. Full time employees receive a benefits package including medical/dental/life and a 401k. All employees will start with a base salary plus commission and pay scale will depend on performance.
