Commercial Sales, Account Representative

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily service
    activity related to attainment of sales shipment goals for complete Interstate
    account. Actively address issues and delays promoting resolution with
    supply chain, local / plant customer service and transportation for NAC,
    ILD and Dallas owned distributors, DC/RDC orders and deliveries.

  • Support internal
    reporting of account service with supply chain customer service, lead
    preparation of weekly updates, present internally and to customer
    leadership.

  • Maintain regular communication
    with JCI demand planning / production control regarding delivery to forecast,
    seasonal orders, and line changes to optimize JCI fill­rate performance.

  • Actively support monthly
    forecast development review and submission process for account with customer
    and JCI staff.

  • Facilitate monthly internal quote preparation,
    review/approval and submission to customers.

  • Coordinate territory transfers supporting both
    customer/distributors and production personnel.

  • Foster strong relationships with key customer
    contacts and functional groups, including operations, supply chain, purchasing,
    marketing, product development, quality, and engineering.

  • Organize and participate in customer visits, plant
    reviews, and conferences as required.

  • Engage on product development, portfolio line
    changes and specialty projects to support account initiatives and achieve
    commercial metrics.

  • Serve as commercial team lead on strategic US/Can
    projects to drive successful execution of initiatives for the region.

  • Champion Joint Business Review agendas,
    presentations and align expectations with cross functional departments for
    customer relevant topics including collaborative growth/market, service, cost
    savings and innovation/IT opportunities.


 











Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in
    business administration or related field required, MBA is a plus

  • Minimum of 2 years of
    relevant business experience (sales/customer service)

  • Excellent interpersonal
    and communication skills

  • Strong Presentation and
    Listening Skills

  • Proficient in Excel,
    Data/Information Management Systems and PowerPoint

  • Highly Organized with
    attention to detail

  • Open Minded with
    Creative Problem Solving

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated
    with strong work ethic

  • Previous experience in
    the battery industry or automotive a plus


  • 10% travel for customer and internal reviews
