This position is based in the New York area, will work from home, and to sell to the following territories: New York, New Jersey and New England. Key Responsibility:
Maintain and open new business with independents and chain stores through aggressive cold calling and prospecting techniques.
Responsibilities include:
· Responsible for overall growth of the territory
· Responsible to achieve sales goals and quotas as set forth by manager
· Communicate in a timely manner reports and field information to manager
· Responsible for proper coverage within the territory
· Identify and communicate territory-specific challenges and problems that impact business growth
· Ensure that all marketing and sales programs are properly executed on a regional basis
· Accessible and accountable to key customers as directed by manager
Qualifications:
· 5+ years sales or Consumer Products experience with a proven sales track record
· A minimum of 3 years related Sales experience required
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Minimum 60% travel (including overnight stays) within the territory and national trade shows required
· Intermediate level MS Office Suite knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Must have strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and problem solve
· Exceptional time Management skills a must
· Interest in crafts &/or scrapbooking a big plus
· Must have a car to be considered
