GC Services currently has outstanding opportunities for entry-level and experienced Collection Representatives at our Columbus location. The individuals we seek will have the experience, drive, positive attitude, determination and ability to take on challenges and succeed!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Outbound skip tracing and calling to collect on delinquent past due Student Loan accounts
• Inbound collection calls assisting customers with past due accounts
• Documenting all collections activity concisely and accurately on the Client system
• Correct deficiencies and oversights during quality assurance reviews as outlined by the Unit Manager

Skills/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous collection experience a plus
• Motivated self-starter
• Possess excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic phone presence
• Demonstrated ability to be persuasive, as well as being a good listener
• Computer literate
• Must be flexible with the ability to work a varying schedule
