THE JOB: Currently accepting resumes for an Account Supervisor
THE PLACE: Beautiful, sunny Fort Lauderdale
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to support the Account Director in the leadership role in all advertising, marketing and business efforts for all assigned accounts. Become a liaison with Client marketing and sales operations, as appropriate. Continually strive to find ways to grow Client's business.
Account Stewardship:
- Work with Account Director and all Agency departments to ensure that our goals for our Clients are met.
- Ensure that all work is reviewed before it goes to the Client.
- Ensure compliance with Agency/Client scope of work guidelines.
Client Relations:
- Maintain contact with Clients responsible for development of advertising programs.
- Anticipate Client needs.
- Work with Account Director to keep the Agency in the position of leading.
- Assure that Clients understand Agency procedures/systems.
- Obtain clear direction before taking action.
General Duties:
- Responsible for providing accurate direction to internal Account Executives.
- Update weekly status report to keep team up to date on status of all on-going projects.
- Participate in weekly status report conference calls.
- Produce accurate and timely service reports.
- Provide daily agenda to Account Director.
- Attend Agency-provided seminars.
- Participate in new-employee training.
- Assure compliance with all legal guidelines, particularly advertising claims' substantiation and handling of unsolicited ideas.
- Provide leadership to the account team.
- Encourage and motivate all members of the team. Assure that proprietary and other sensitive information is handled with utmost confidentiality.
- Discuss copy legal issues with AEs.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of any assigned personnel, guiding workflow, and assuring compliance with Agency policy and fulfilling Client requirements.
Required Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years as a Sr. Account Executive or Account Supervisor in a full service agency dealing with retail accounts, with a focus on fashion.
- Media savvy - print, tv, radio, and interactive
- Must be computer literate with proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook/Express with the ability to learn new computer systems.
