Accountant Associate

Key Responsibilities:

o Ensure that all accounting is complete in accordance with company policies and procedures.
o Prepare basic to slightly complex journal entries.
o Record appropriate and timely journal entries to the general ledger.
o Prepare account/bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, providing explanation and resolution for all material variances.
o Prepare daily bank deposit.
o Process incoming requests for Chart of Account activity ensuring we are in compliance with Data Governance.
o Undertake and complete other duties as requested.


Basic qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years experience or Master's degree with 1-3 years experience.


Preferred experience:

o Oracle and/or MFG Pro experience.
o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus.
o The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to identify issues and help to provide resolutions.
o This individual will have strong analytical skills and the experience of partnering in support of the business needs.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills.
o Experience working in a SOX compliant organization is preferred. *MN
