Accountant, External Reporting

Brief Description

Reporting to the Sr Accountant – External Reporting this position assists in the preparation and distribution of financial statements for external use. Ensures that financial documentation complies with the Company's regulations and professional standards.

Key Accountabilities

Preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Responsible for serving as a contact for internal and external audit planning/coordination
Research technical accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance with current and prospective accounting standards, as applicable
Assist with corporate accounting
Work on various financial projects

Job Requirements

2 + years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting experience for a larger corporation (manufacturing experience prefered)
Bachelors degree in business or related degree
Must be able to travel up to 10%
CPA or in the process of obtaining CPA.
