Mazzio’s Corporation is a privately held company that has been in business since 1961.  We currently have 64 company owned Mazzio’s Italian Eatery locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, NW Arkansas and Missouri.  We also franchise the concept with roughly 130 locations throughout the Midwest.  Additionally, we have developed a new casual dining concept, Oliveto Italian Bistro, with our first location at 91^st & Memorial.  We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Accountant II – Fixed Assets

Full time position reporting to the Corporate Controller.  The qualified individual will be responsible for reporting the company’s investments in long-term assets, business acquisitions and disposals by posting all fixed asset-related invoices, reconciliations, depreciation accruals, and preparing year-end fixed asset-related schedules.  Selected candidate will oversee payments and accounting for lease transactions by preparing year-end lease-related audit schedules, ensuring proper and timely payment, and preparing personal property tax renditions annually. 

Successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding of reconciliation fundamentals
• Knowledge of basic accounting practices
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fixed asset accounting experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
• Asset Keeper and/or Great Plains Fixed Assets software experience (preferred)
• Multi-unit or retail experience (preferred)
