Fortune 500 Company seeking project accountants for newly created group

Accountant will perform complex activities associated with maintaining general ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. Duties may include preparing regulatory reports, reviewing data from the GL, unit reports, and various financial systems to ensure accuracy, reviewing entries for the reporting system, and account reconciliations. Additionally the qualified individual will provide functional advice or training to lower level accounting personnel. Minimum of 5 years accounting and finance experience. Preferred skills experience in real estate, capital markets, and investment banking. Must be detail oriented and have advanced skills in MS Excel and Access.
