Job Title:                                Accountant

Responsible To:                    Controller             

Responsible For:                  Accurate and timely financial services and accounting analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.                     

The Position

 The head office is in Hong Kong and regional offices in New Jersey, Rotterdam, London, Frankfurt, Cologne, Paris, Madrid, Milan and Tokyo, and two R&D facilities, one in Paderborn Germany, and the other in Hong Kong.

This position is based in the North American Headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ.

Primary Responsibilities

• To process all accounts payable

• Perform and process accounts receivables.

• General balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner

• Sales analysis and forecasting

• Sales commission calculations

• Monthly closing responsibilities

• Processing payroll through ADP

• Inter-company payables

• Cost analysis and strategy

• Additional tasks as assigned

Essential Experience & Knowledge

• BS  in Accounting


• A minimum of 3 years experience in accounting.


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.


• Receptive to innovation and change.


• Ability to prioritize, work independently and multitask


• Working knowledge of ADP, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Hyperion, and CL Plus


• Expert in Excel

Desirable Experience

• Experience in working for an international organization.


• Working towards or desire to obtain a CPA.


• Web based CRM software


• Manufacturing experience is a plus
