Moses Lake Industries, Inc. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Manage business systems to produce current, accurate, and complete reporting of product costs, overhead rates and inventory valuation. 
• Perform month-end closing activities and account reconciliations; to ensure proper accounting for operating expenses, inventory and capital expenditures
• Analyze product costs, operating expenses and capital expenditures; as they relate to annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist with preparation of transfer pricing analysis to support worldwide company policies.
• Support the management team to achieve the overall plant objectives, including analyzing data to initiate process improvements and cost savings. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2 years Cost Accounting experience, with a strong operational focus.
• Candidate must possess excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to think creatively and be able to recommend and implement process improvements in a team environment is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint) and familiarity with advanced functions such as pivot tables is preferred.
• Experience working with an ERP or similar management system - Great Plains/ FRx experience is preferred.
• High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Rational, logical, fact-driven decision maker.
