Job Description:

The Accountant will be responsible for the day to day full-cycle execution of multi-currency accounts receivable, collections and sales rebate accounting. Responsibilities will include reconciling customer statements, billing, posting bank receipts and payments, sorting incoming/outgoing mail, processing all AR transactions and aging reports.   

The Accountant will also take the lead on all month-end closings which includes currency exchange validations, item cost validations, accruals, fixed asset maintenance and depreciation, prepaid entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations and general accounting maintenance and analysis including file maintenance.

The Accountant will be the key in implementing a speedier period end close process.

Specifications/Job Requirements

·         Able to take direction and maintain deadlines.

·         A minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience, CPA preferred.

·         Have enthusiasm and energy, and be a motivated self-starter who can work on a team and independently.

·         Microsoft Dynamics Navision accounting system knowledge a plus

·         Strong analytical, computer and excel skills

·         Norwegian language skills a plus
