* Preparation of financial statements will include without limitation, typical accounting responsibilities, such as, journal entries, accruals, currency translations, asset capitalization and depreciation, and reconciliations.
* Liaises with location managers and other operational personnel to ensure the efficient distribution, review and adjustment (where necessary) of location financial statements.
* Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports monthly and as requested to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for location managers, district managers, regional managers and executives so they can accurately prepare quarterly variance reports and make informed business decisions.
* Demonstrates the ability to effectively interpret, analyze and communicate accounting principles to both internal and external customers.
Requirements -
*Bachelors degree in Accounting, experience in property management and construction accounting with two or more years of equivalent experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required.
* MBA Accounting or CPA license preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Oracle, Discoverer and ADI along with general ledger/accounting software is strongly preferred.
* Successful candidates will be detail and deadline - oriented with a track record of meeting goals in a timely fashion.
