Accounting Associate: Progressive Financial Services Firm
Are you a driven, experienced Accountant with 3-6 years of experience in a public accounting and/or financial services firm? Do you want to work at an exciting, fast-paced company where you will be constantly challenged and have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects?
Our Downtown Manhattan Financial Services client is growing and they are looking to add an Accounting Associate to their team! They offer full medical benefits, strong compensation plan, tuition reimbursement, on-site gym, a casual, open working environment, and more!
The Accounting Associate will be responsible for:- Monthly financial statement preparation.
- Calculating financial risk for investments.
- Regulatory filing preparation including FOCUS Reports, 17H and 13F.
- Regulatory, tax and independent year end audits.
- Daily P&L review and calculation.
- Preparation and filing of taxes.
Qualified candidates will have:- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-6 years of accounting experience. Public accounting experience and/or experience in a financial services firm, hedge fund, or broker-dealer strongly preferred.
- Genuine interest in the financial markets and investment industry.
- Motivated self-starters only please!
