Candidates will be expected to have extensive knowledge and abilities with regarding Management of Multiple Corporate Entities and Inter-Corporate transactions, Business Planning, Income and Expense projecting, Tax Planning, Corporate Income Tax Preparation, Financial Statements, Corporation Formation and Compliance, Budgeting.
Previous experience with Publicly held companies a plus.
International Corporation and Banking also a plus.
Job Purpose:
Accomplishes organization's strategic financial objectives by developing, monitoring, and evaluating plans and results; enforcing controls.
Duties:
- Develops plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial results to guide management decisions by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; preparing economic studies and forecasts; developing and providing background information; developing and enforcing planning schedules; preparing planning narratives.
- Secures financing by tracking, measuring, evaluating, and forecasting financial results; identifying needs and trends; analyzing capital needs; managing deposits; negotiating credit with banks, brokers, and insurance companies.
- Conducts financial analyses to identify profit improvement opportunities by studying business opportunities; determining expansion or purchase of plant facilities or product lines; evaluating options; recommending courses of action.
- Protects assets by establishing credit policies; developing and managing credit procedures; providing physical asset insurance coverage; establishing, auditing, and enforcing internal controls; arranging for and participating in external audits; managing legal counsel.
- Complies with regulatory requirements by approving and filing statements and reports; filing returns; paying taxes.
- Guides internal actions by developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Obtains revenue and pays obligations by establishing accounts receivable and payable systems.
- Represents the organization by communicating and interacting with governmental agencies.
- Authorizes agreements by representing the organization with financial institutions.
- Maintains office and information services by studying organization requirements; approving policies, procedures, programs, and expenditures.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

- Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development.
- Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff.
- Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
- Liase with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization.
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-operation with the executive team.
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.
- Reporting and accounting as per regulatory an legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts. Management of strategy for and liaison with stock market, business press and business analysts community.
