Job Duties:
- Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, based on business unit's performance results, through a coordinated reporting and analysis process. Communicate findings to business units and executive management
- Develop and define profitability reporting/allocation methodologies in accordance with Corporate Criteris. Communicate new methodologies or changes to current method's to the Profitability User Group
- Direct the monthly production of the transfer pricing system to be used in business unit product pricing and profitability reporting
- Oversee monthly management reporting process and preparation of monthly business unit and product review packages
- Perform monthly evaluation of organizational changes to determine the impact on measurement processes and KPI¿s reported
Provide support for all profitability projects and new initiatives - Manage and provide development and training to analyst staff
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Finance or Accounting
- MBA or CPA a plus
- Minimum 5-years directly related experience Banking or financial services industry
- Prior managerial/cost accounting experience
- Previous experience in developing and supporting a performance reporting process
- Extensive PC-based skills (particularly with spreadsheet and database software)
- Exposure to multidimensional modeling helpful
- Experience in development of system functional requirements
- Proven Financial Analysis skills
- High attention to detail
- Highly developed problem solving skills
- Ability to handle several projects at one time with the ability to produce high quality deliverables and consistently meet deadlines.
