Accounting Manager/Controller

A dynamic and growing consulting firm in the greater Cleveland area is seeking a seasoned accounting professional with experience in general ledger, cost accounting and financial reporting for the position of Accounting Manager/Controller.

The successful candidate will possess a very high sense of personal integrity, and a hands-on approach to the operations of the accounting department.  The candidate shall also have experience in banking, budget and forecast preparations, and a good understanding of corporate tax requirements.  The Accounting Manager/Controller will directly manage and implement all aspects of the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting.  This position reports directly to the owners.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years related accounting experience in general ledger and cost accounting, and a BA in Finance or Accounting.  A CPA and/or MBA would be considered a plus, but is not required.  Knowledge of computer systems and accounting programs, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results is required.  We maintain a drug-free workforce and are an equal opportunity employer.
