ACCOUNTING MANAGER - milne To US$80,000 plus benefits including 401K, healthcare, parking and bonus potential My client is a $2 billion division of a $20bn global construction group and headquartered in Montgomery County. The Mid Atlantic division is looking to hire a new Accountant, reporting the Regional Controller (CPA) covering the following duties:- Provide accurate and timely reporting of actual performance versus forecast and budget for senior management Preparation of all management information relating to the Mid Atlantic region performance Preparation of month end general accounting close (JD Edwards) Review account reconciliation’s for all appropriate balance sheet accounts Improve financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results Manage the production of budget and phasing of budgets and financial plans. Identify risks and opportunities to budgets. Works closely with corporate, cost, treasury and shared financial services management to develop, implement and coordinate accounting policies and practices to improved consistency and efficiency in accounting. Qualifications :
To be considered for this high profile opportunity you should ideally posses a BS degree in Accounting and Finance with minimum five (5) years relevant experience ideally gained in a manufacturing or construction industry. Knowledge of Excel and JD Edwards preferred. 10% domestic travel is required
