We are assisting a Birmingham based financial services company that is seeking a strong technical accountant to assist with the interpretation of various accounting and reporting standards to tell them how they impact all areas of the company. The company is looking for someone with good technical ability, strong research experience, and a solid reporting background.  This position will be responsible for directing the company on how each reporting standard effects every area of the business.

A CPA is required, with a minimum of 4-5 years practical experience.  Having worked in accounting policy with a company is a huge plus.
