Job Description

This Accounting Specialist position will be involved in all aspects of the company's accounting function.

 Primary Responsibilities

- Assist with the month end closing process

- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries

- Review expenditures for proper reporting

- Prepare account reconciliations and other relevant schedules

- Assist in overall maintenance of the Company's accounting records

 Job Requirements

Detail oriented and able to work both in a team setting and independently.  Must be reliable and self motivated.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.  1-3 plus years of work experience in general corporate accounting.  Experience in the stock brokerage industry preferred.   Bachelor's degree in accounting required from an accredited four year college.  Strong Excel skills required and Great Plains software experience preferred.
