Our client is seeking candidates for a Senior Fund Accountant opportunity in Purchase, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Create master-feeder allocation schedules based on the Fund documents including calculation of management fees and incentive fees
• Prepare template for month end NAV file which will include schedules for portfolio, cash, accruals and a month end closing checklist for both the Funds and management company
• Coordinate with the Administrator in calculation of month end net asset value and distribution of capital statements to investors
• Review of daily flash profit/loss for management distribution
• Coordinate invoice approval for remittance to parent company
• Collaborate with parent company on processing of accounting entries in the management company general ledger
• Work with the Administrator and Auditor in regard to audit testing inquiries and  audit confirmation processing for positions, cash and valuation
• Facilitate in the preparation of audited financial statements.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• Must have 4+ years experience as CPA
• Experience with a Multi Strategy Hedge Fund is preferred
• Experience with Advent Geneva highly preferred
