International Shoppes is a specialty retailer that has been operating airport retail and duty free facilities for almost 60 years.  In addition to the traditional duty free mix of liquor, tobacco, confectionery and fragrances/cosmetics, we place a tremendous emphasis on fashion and luxury. We operate a number of stand-alone high-end boutiques including Hermes, Cartier, Estee Lauder/Clinique, Mont Blanc, Lacoste, Hugo Boss and L’Occitane.  Our subsidiary, Diplomatic Duty Free Shops of New York, services the Diplomatic Communities by offering the same great products that we sell at our airport locations to local diplomats.  

International Shoppes has immediate openings for full time experienced Accounts Payable Clerk at our headquarters in Valley Stream. 

Responsibilities

·         Review invoices for proper authorization

·         Match invoices to receiving and purchase orders

·         Ensure timely input of data into the system

·         Assist with invoice filing

·         Responds to phone calls / emails from vendors or internal departments regarding invoice status

·         Assist and back-up Accounts Payable Supervisor

Requirements

o    Must have strong communication skills and be detail-oriented

o    Proficient in excel and Word

o    Must be able to work in a team environment

• High School Diploma or equivalent
