Accounts Payable and Expense Report Specialist We are partnering with a Company headquartered in Montgomery County that is looking to bring on board a sharp, hardworking Accounts Payable specialist with specific hands on knowledge and processing of employee expense reports. Under general supervision of the Controller, the A/P specialist will be responsible for promptly reviewing expense reports to ensure compliance with established expense guidelines, providing expense summary reports upon request, and any other related issues regarding expense disbursement or reporting of expenses. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Ø Responsible for auditing to ensure all expense check requests are within policy compliance, have valid general ledger coding, and are not duplicated. Ø Interacts and communicates frequently via written & verbal communication with internal and external departments and divisions. Ø Performs research and status updates for expense payments Ø Provides assistance and acts as backup to users uploading expense data into processing system. Ø Responsible for prompt response to calls and emails by providing information and/or contacting internal departments to resolve issues. Ø Must be willing to work overtime hours, as needed, in order to meet departmental objectives. Ø Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, or similar vocations is a plus. Completion of a high school degree or equivalent certification is required. Requires 5+ years of experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with hands on experience with expense report processing and data entry.
