Job Purpose - This position will be responsible for validating and paying invoices for copacked products, distribution center costs, and miscellaneous freight expenses in an accurate and timely manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Enter invoices into Maximo Payable system.  Scan documents in scanning system.

2.      Validate product code/container code, pounds received, and price charged for purchased finished goods invoices.  Determine proper GL codes.

3.      Validate distribution center invoices for proper approval and GL codes by referring to the company policies and budgets.

4.      Set up process for tracking and paying miscellaneous freight invoices including warehouse transfers, detention, trailer spotting, preloads, container moves, etc.

5.      Manage obsolete inventory accrual. 

6.      Coordinate activities in the Accounts Payable department including working with other Stratas departments, ADM Accounts Payable group, ADM Accounting, and ADM tax department.

7.      Provide support for co-pack accounting functions to include variance explanations, trends, and inventory.

8.      Communicate with internal and external customers.  Research and resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

9.      Provide reports to communicate spending information to management.

10. Assist with projects & analysis as needed.
