Well-established multi-location oilfield supply company has an immediate opening for a Accounts Payable Specialist for our corporate office located in Broussard.  If you are detail oriented with excellent organizational skills looking for a challenging position with a growing organization, we are looking for you.  Must be able to work in a team environment and possess strong accounting knowledge and skills.  Prefer +5 year’s accounts payable experience along with advanced computer skills including integrated ERP systems and MS Excel skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Functions:

• Reconciling vendor accounts


• Work with vendors to negotiate payments


• Maintain payment plan


• Maintain fixed asset depreciation schedules


• Prepare request for wires and ACH transfers


• Monitor vendor credit limits


• Monitor local checking accounts for missing data


• Other responsibilities deemed reasonable by management

Secondary Functions:

• Participate with preparation of various exception reports


• Participate with financial and insurance audits

• Participate with new location setups (IT, phone, etc.)


• Participate with budgets and variance reports


• Special projects as assigned by management
