Accounts Receivable Administrator

Job Summary:

 

This job will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable cycle.

 

Essential/Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for all client online invoicing
  • Responsible for all collections of outstanding accounts receivable
  • Required to bill, compile, and submit all state sales tax filings and returns
  • Maintain sales tax certificates
  • Prepare and submit all property tax returns
  • Responsible for posting and depositing checks
  • Gather and submit new client credit information for approval
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies
  • Process credit card payments
  • Assist with period end process (journals/analyses/reconciliations)
  • Responsible for submission of weekly payroll data
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Other accounting duties as required

 

Competence Requirements (Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Training)

 

  • Experience:  3 – 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control
  • Knowledge:  Avatax experience preferred
  • Understanding of full accounting cycle

·         MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

·         Qualifications:  Must be detail oriented/multi task

·         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
