Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our organization is looking for a seasoned Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Process cash receipts and applications
  
• Review of customer accounts
  
• Issue of customer credits and rebates
  
• Update and management of complex accounts
  
• Monitor aging reports
  
• Reconcile past due accounts
  
• General ledger maintenance
  
• Cash and sale transaction journal entries
  
• Sustain updated and organized records
  
• Deposit runs
  
• Daily sales flash report
  
• Monthly sales report
  
• Provide assistance with the financial reporting preparation

Customer service plays a significant role within this position requiring the individual to take inbound inquiry calls, make outbound collection calls and navigate interdepartmental requests.

An Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or two years prior work experience within a similar function is preferred. The candidate should be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

This position offers flexible hours.
