Activant Direct Inside Sales Account Manager

About the Job

This is a direct sales position. Primarily selling to our installed base of Lumber and Building Material accounts. Responsible for software and hardware sales and services. 95% telephone and 5% travel. Requires strong technical and customer relation skills. Previous selling experience required.

Responsible for driving inside sales by placing outbound calls to customers to educate them about the value of additional products, services and upgrades. Furthermore, a solid sales pipeline must continually be maintained. Must also provide pricing, and negotiate the close of sales proposals to meet and exceed sales objectives. In addition, is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the CEO, CORE, and SUPPORT level contacts within customer's organization. Must provide outstanding customer service (both internal and external) by setting clear and accurate expectations that result in win-win scenarios.  

College education. 2-5 years of previous selling experience. Knowledge of the Lumber and Building Material industry would be a plus.
