Activities Leader
About the Job
Hands on activities leader for independent living residence. Candidate must have ability to excite and engage individuals. We want an upbeat individual to run activities that consist of recreational, social, intellectual and spiritual activities. He/she will be responsible for the hiring and coordinating of outside vendors. volunteers and entertainment. Position is required to work along side staff in creating monthy, weekly and daily activity calender. Days and hours for this position are Tuesday thru Saturday.(Tues. & Thurs 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Wed, Fri, Sat 1 p.m. to 9 pm). Must love senior population. The ideal candidate is caring, friendly, self motivated and reliable. Candidate should be musical, artistic, very creative and have good computer skills. Candidate must hold a valid NY State drivers license and be able to drive a 12 passenger van.
