Responsible for the planning, organizing and direction of all administrative and functional activities related to the hospital’s patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance programs. Serves as the hospital’s Patient Safety Officer. Provides administrative leadership for the Risk Management, Performance Improvement, Medical Staff department, Infection Control, as well as the Education Department and Case Management if applicable. Ensures Medical Center’s compliance with external regulatory entities (i.e., TJC, CMS, Bureau of Licensure and Certification). Provides leadership in the fulfillment of UHS Risk Management and Quality initiatives and expectations.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree Preferred.
Experience:
Nevada RN license or Risk/Quality Healthcare Professional Certification required. (example HQCP)
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service
appropriate to the age of the patient.
