Administrative Assistant. The AMEC Birmingham office is searching for an outgoing administrative assistant to support its growing staff of engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years relevant experience, great communication and computer skills, and a positive attitude. A vocational certificate/diploma or BS degree is preferred.
 
 
Accountabilities
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Assist in the production of engineering documents, maps, and reports
  • Assist in preparing proposal documents and marketing materials
  • Filing and document organization
  • Digital file organization
  • Scheduling for engineers and technicians
 
 
Knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills with ability to quickly learn new programs
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Adobe Photoshop or other publishing experience
  • Exposure to water resources consulting is a plus
