Position Description:
We have an immediate need for a support person to assist the Department Director to achieve the project and program objectives of the Department. This individual will assist in managing the details of the Department’s meetings, preparing meeting notices, minutes, copy, filing, assembling course materials,handling general correspondence, calendar, phone, switchboard and e-mail inquiries. Daily interaction with members with a strong focus on customer service is required.
Skills:
Good communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; proactive; positive thinker with a high level of initiative; ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and be flexible; extremely detail-oriented; strong PC skills including proficiency in MS Office. Database management and internet research skills also required as is the ability to travel to events.
