The Business Unit
Rexnord Aerospace supplies engineered high performance bearings and mechanical seals to the commercial air transport, regional aircraft, business aircraft, helicopter and military aircraft markets for use in engine systems, flight control systems, airframe structures and landing gear systems. Our aerospace bearing and seal products consist of rolling element airframe bearings and bearing tooling sold under the Shafer® and Tri-Roller® brand names, Teflon lined polymeric bearings sold under the Tuflite® brand name, slotted entry, split ball and split race bearings sold under the PSI® brand name, self-lubricating machinable lined bearings and coatings sold under the Rexlon® brand name and mechanical seals sold under the Cartriseal® brand name. Our global customer base includes all major engine and airframe OEM’s, as well as major Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers to the engine and airframe OEM’s and through our FAA approved repair station we support major MRO and aircraft operators with repair and overhaul capabilities.
Brief Description
To assist the Sales & Marketing department in all clerical areas, i.e., filing, data entry, faxing, copying, quote generation, order entry, and other administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant will report to the Shafer Product Line Marketing Manager.
Key Accountabilities
Ø Data entry to spreadsheets and typing of letters and other related documents, i.e. quotes/order entry
Ø Heavy filing duties; mailing daily invoices and order acknowledgements
Ø Interfacing with customers
Ø Other projects as required and assigned

Job Requirements:
Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors
Ø 1-2+ Years customer service experience; clerical experience in a manufacturing environment would be a plus
Ø High School Diploma or GED
Ø Computer literate (MS Word & Excel)
Ø Working knowledge of other windows based software, i.e., PowerPoint a plus
Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks and fast paced environment
Ø Ability to operate office machines, i.e., copier, fax, etc.
Ø English speaking with a good knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
