Essential Function:

This position is responsible for the administrative duties for Facilities Operations at the Indiana & Jonesboro Plants. This person shall perform daily administrative functions, maintain confidentiality, contact and submit correspondence to the Corporate Office. This position also supports duties as required as the Mooresville front lobby administrative receptionist.

Scope:

This position works directly with all functional teams at the Indiana facility.

Position Responsibilities:

* Uses judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations;
* Composes correspondence on own initiative about administrative matters and general office policies;
* Serves as the first point of contact at the Mooresville Plant & is responsible to greet visitors and contact appropriate department contacts;
* Prepares materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, & required travel arrangements;
* Prepares required reports, supports special project summaries, replies to inquires, publishes newsletter, documents meeting notes and composes confidential memos
* Provide administrative support to track, update and maintain sustainability projects across multiple locations
* Maintains filing and supports required organization system;
* Reviews for accuracy daily reports for production, planning and various other departments;
* Prepares presentations using Powerpoint and data analysis using Excel;
* Supports HR with event and celebration planning;
* Work in the planning implementation stages of new programs;
* Actively participates in internal committees, and participates in supporting local community programs and civic relations;
* Coordinate travel arrangements;
* All other duties as assigned.

Equivalent Education Level Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business or related field

Experience Required: 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience required, using Microsoft Office software.
Prefer administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge Required:
* Must have intermediate skills using Microsoft Word, & Excel. ( Computer testing required to qualify)
* Administrative experience working in a fast pace, time sensitive, environment. Manufacturing preferred
* Proficient creating Power Point presentations, maintaining Outlook calendars, and recent experience with coordinating and planning employee events.
* Requires attention to detailed, a professional attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize work functions with strong organizational skills.

Requires passing a pre-employment criminal background screen and hair follicle drug test.
