About the Job
This position is responsible for providing direct administrative support to the VP of Express, the Sr. National Director and the National Account Manager team. The successful candidate will possess administrative skills to include, but not limited to the following: - Maintain organized schedules, information requests and meeting deliverables using Microsoft Outlook and other electronic tools.
- Develop creative, clear, accurate and innovative presentations and communications for VPs final approval in the appropriate software. Ensure accuracy by editing and proofreading documents.
- Independently compile and submit expense reports for team.
- Manage calendar for VP and designated others. Ensure all calendar updates are timely and adequately communicated.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings, department activities, special events and travel arrangements.
- Perform special projects and other duties related to department tasks as needed.
- Establish and maintain departmental filing systems.
- Professionally screen phone calls, assist as necessary and/or route.
- Provide general office support including but not limited to: sort mail, order supplies, copy, and collate business materials.
Minimum Requirements - High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
- Five to Eight years administrative experience supporting multiple executives and diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, high professionalism, and possess an innovative and intellectually-curious mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in computer Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple changing agendas in a quick-paced and deadline-driven environment with little margin for error.
- Proven experience planning complex domestic and international travel itineraries.
- Proven ability to interface with all levels of management and external vendors.
