Position Description: 
Positions in this function include more traditional administrative/clerical support roles including: answering the telephone, typing/word processing of documents, weekly pipeline reporting, submitting fulfillment orders, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, providing back-up to the New Business Coordinator, coordinating building and equipment maintenance and project based work.  At senior levels, function may include supervision of other clerical/administrative staff.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years office experience in an administrative assistant role supporting senior management and team

  • 3 years of experience scheduling meetings, managing calendars and making travel arrangements

  • 3 years of experience interacting with both internal/external customers to include building and maintaining relationships

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Excel - ability to manipulate data; ability to create and work with pivot tables; PowerPoint - must be able to create presentations)

  • Establish priorities and able to organize own workload

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (i.e, grammar, punctuation, etc.)

  • Ability to work and excel in an environment where written procedures are not the norm

  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making

  • Healthcare experience is helpful

  • High school education or equivalent experience
