Job Description

 

Responsible for selling custom booth designs and upgrades to exhibiting companies


Requirements


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Responsible for sales process from initial call to fulfillment on site
  • Responsible for  finding new business through:

    • Show organizer floor plan/exhibitor lists
    • Walking competitive shows

  • Gathers leads through trade shows, online exhibitor lists, KWI contracts and the internet; researches the structure of the company to determine the best contacts for targeted sales efforts; qualifies leads with telephone calls (primary) and emails (secondary).
  • Develops a relationship and works effectively with sales and operations teams
  • Responsible for:

    • Building and maintaining client relationships, including an understanding of what each company hopes to achieve at a show
    • Maximize sales revenues through proactive measures to attract new customers not in the US Pavilion and up sell existing customers.

  • Thorough reporting - Provides timely feedback and project updates to senior management
  • Follow-up – Makes sure that every lead via email, telephone or via trade show attendance is followed up
  • Awareness of Financial Reporting

    • Ability to budget
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable/accounts payable
    • Categorize expense and revenue

  • Ability to write and create marketing materials including:

    • Creative Services Marketing Portfolios
    • Promotional emails
    • Constant Contacts 
    • Brochures
    • Web
    • Social Media


  • Travels and attends trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and other selling and network-building opportunities; plans trade show attendance in advance with appointments, targets and goals; assists in theme, demo, and exhibit space layout  for trade show booths.
  • Interfaces with accounting to ensure payments by exhibitors, outside vendors etc are completed.
  • Mastery of computer programs such as VISIO, CRM, Constant Contact, PowerPoint  in order to utilize on a daily basis as well as have ability to teach others within the company
  • Ability to create clear and concise communication to stand builder regarding client requirements
  • Act as liaison between client and builder to refine design to client satisfaction
  • Good solid negotiation skills; ability to get best price from builder
  • Responsible for thorough understanding of all show rules and regulations and forms as per the exhibitor manual:

    • Platform requirements
    • Mandatory contractor fees
    • Deadline dates


  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with all suppliers

    • Stand Builder
    • Electrical Provider
    • Platform  Provider
    • Audio Visual Supplier
    • Graphics Provider


  • Ability to gather client requirements through phone calls/email encompassing all the following

    • Booth structure
    • Products
    • Marketing/Branding
    • Color and Design
    • Audio/Visual
    • Electrical
    • Graphics

·          Responsible for establishing all pricing for custom builds ICW Operations Manager


·          Ordering all booth services, (Electrical, internet, etc)


·          Badge registration for contractors, vendors


·          Ability to travel to show to supervise the build and ensure quality of final booth build


·          Post show accounting and invoicing out to exhibitor


·          Creation of “Master Binder" if not traveling to show to give staff full knowledge of booth setup
