Marinello Schools of Beauty with more than 100 years of educating the finest cosmetology professionals has 41 accredited campus locations in Northern California, Southern California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada & Utah. We offer students state-of-the art educational programs for cosmetology, esthetician, manicuring and massage therapy.

Marinello is seeking ADMISSIONS ADVISOR candidates for our PORTLAND campus who are motivated, energetic and looking for an exciting opportunity to counsel and assist potential students with enrollment at our campus locations.

The Admissions Advisor duties include:

• Presenting the school and its programs to prospective students and families
• Interviewing applicants through telephone contact and personal interviews to determine motivation, interest, effort and ability to qualify for various programs
• Reviewing programs and touring the campus with prospective students

·         Processing student enrollments

• Maintaining database system to tract prospective students and enrollments

Qualifications:

·         2-5 years of admissions experience in a postsecondary vocational education environment

·         Candidates with membership sales and/or related sales experience will also be considered

·         Requires knowledge of computer applications

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Exceptional social and customer-focused skills

·         Strong detail orientation and organizational abilities

·         Persuasive communication skills

·         High energy and enthusiasm
