Valpak of Atlanta, an independent Franchise of Cox Target Media, has a need for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. Valpak is the most recognized brand in our industry and the #1 provider of cooperative direct mail in North America. Using precision targeted direct mail and online marketing, Valpak through its network of nearly 200 independently owned Valpak® franchises, is delivered to over 40,000,000 households every month.

The results oriented, highly organized, proven leader we seek will be responsible for managing a team of 15 Sales Associates who are responsible for prospecting, telemarketing, cold calling, selling and implementing effective advertising, marketing & specific promotional ideas to business throughout Atlanta.  They will determine the sales strategy, goals, and objectives for the Sales Associates to execute against; consistently review goals and numbers with sales associates; recruit, train, supervise, motivate and evaluate Associates regularly and create positive morale and team relations. Additionally this individual will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.

Position reports to General Manager/Owner and requires : 5+ years

·         Proven track record in meeting individual sales goals;

·         Experience in strategic planning and execution;

·         Experience structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations for others.

·         Experience successfully motivating and managing a large diverse team to meet company objectives.

·         Experience planning marketing strategies and advertising campaigns highly preferred.

·         Requires excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Microsoft Office experience a must.

·         Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
