Job Summary:
We have an amazing outside sales opportunity! If you are or want to be a sales leader; Zurich is looking for you in our southeastern Indiana market (including Indianapolis metro down to Jeffersonville)!

What do we do:
We provide property and casualty insurance to the retail & aftermarket automotive industry through a dedicated sales force. As an Aftermarket Account Executive, you will be a key player in the success of the outside sales team. You will drive growth and profitability in the assigned territory through sales related to the Zurich line of products. You would develop and maintain profitable relationships with new and existing customers. Sole sales responsibility, in addition to partnering with Finance & Insurance Executives to achieve product density through a team selling approach.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
2 or more years of outside B2B sales experience required.
1. Thorough knowledge of underwriting principles/techniques and BU Underwriting guidelines preferred.
2. Thorough knowledge of coverage and pricing of all business offerings preferred.
3. Understands our market and competitors preferred.
4. Understands principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology preferred.
5. Understands principles, techniques and terminology of claims and the BU Claims process preferred.
6. Understands and works within regulatory environment -preferred.
7. Knowledge of personal computers, company-approved software, and business system applications preferred.
8. Understands how to navigate the internet and intranet and assess the value of available information preferred.
9. Interprets/analyzes financial statements - preferred.
10. Broad knowledge of customers' business and operations - preferred.
11. Understands financial results of BU and how the AE job affects the bottom line - preferred.
12. Knowledge of company's vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics - preferred.
13. Understands and applies techniques to manage multiple priorities.
14. Possesses a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.
15. Understands the importance of, and demonstrates a commitment to, personal and professional growth.
16. Licensed to sell insurance products - preferred.
